I have a bad case of wanderlust. I emigrated to the United States from the Philippines to earn my MBA and PhD degrees in Business Management at Texas Tech University. While serving as a tenured associate professor at Tennessee Tech University, I have been coping with my travel-related malady by embarking on frequent trips and novel experiences. “Travel opens you to infinite possibilities. One has to unlock the proverbial door and fling it wide open. Don’t wait for opportunity to knock.” Being recently certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language, I hope, allows me to crack open another door.
